Special Care Travel Pty Ltd is a licensed Travel Agency and Accredited Coach Company established in 1986. Special Care Travel provide supported holidays for small group tours and individual, people with a mild to moderate intellectual disability, visual or hearing impairment, epilepsy, developmental and some mobility impairments.

We hold Certificate 3 in Disability Support 2018, have Police Checks, Disability Services Positive notice cards, Assist Medication Certificate 2018 and hold a current First aid Certificate updated yearly.
As a licensed Travel Agent, we make all your travel arrangements giving you peace of mind.

Any dietary needs can be managed by Douglas who also is a qualified Chef.
Our holidays are all inclusive with Accommodation, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, sightseeing entries return travel as per itinerary. We care for and supervise our customers 24hours, look after any dietary needs, money and medication.
We provide Holidays and Social Participation for our customers that meet our booking criteria, each tour will offer different staff ratios, choose the tour that best suits your needs. staff ratios from 1:4 1:3 1:2 and 1:1 are available on different Tours. You are also invited to ask us to arrange a holiday just for you or a small group, conditions apply.
Maximum of 6 to 8 people per Tour only unless specified.
Special Care Travel acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of the land and pays respect to their Elders, past and present.
If you have funding for Social Community and Civic Participation, Assist Personal Activities, Group Centre Activities, Daily Tasks/Shared Living and Travel Transport in your Core Supports or Capacity Building budget. You may be able to use this funding for support costs on our Holidays. If you are using this funding for your Holiday, it will only pay for your hourly support needs. All other costs pertaining to the holiday will be at your personal expense.
We have been transparent in providing approximate hours that will be required for each holiday for the staff ratio you have booked, this amount may vary depending on your support needs and how much you want to spend out of your NDIS plan (Click here to see the Participant Handbook).
